The 2009 International Code framework was adopted by New Jersey on September 7, 2010, thus updating the technical subcodes of the Uniform Construction Code (UCC).  Between now and March 4, 2011 UCC permit applications may be submitted under either the 2006 or 2009 NJ amended I-code publications.  After March 4, 2011 plans must conform to the NJ amended 2009 I-codes.  NJBA is in the process of analyzing the new codes and more information will be provided in the near future.
